The Daily Forum is a platform which aims to raise the value of quotidian practice through sharing via everyday exchanges and spontaneous collaborations. It's not about a chosen few that people look in on but about how we are affected by difference and multiplicity. Find out more about our Facebook Group below.
Education means letting yourself get involved, it means knowing how to listen to other people, knowing how to put yourself into long-term relation with things and then opening yourself up to becoming affected. We don't need to wait of the world to change. We only need to change ourselves.
This group is not about preaching to the crowd. It is not about me or you or a chosen few but about us. There are no hierarchies here only a space for possibility. I welcome all your posts, shares and comments within a community of respect. You are also most welcome to engage through just reading. I try and post at least one post per day because I believe in the everyday of exchange and honour the everyday of a quotidian practice. I believe in the giving of time and the development of a history of thought.
We won't always agree on things but that is not a negative stance. Ideas from people who think differently from us creates an environment for considering others and embraces inclusion. Nobody wants to live in a community where matting is the status quo.
Imagine each post as an invitation of loose parts placed on a table in front of you. Instead of loose parts think of a constant flow of ideas that may seem to be disconnected but somehow not. Some might provoke you and some might align with your sensibilities. How you engage is your own response and I don't feel it necessary to ask you questions or steer your thinking in any way.
The Conscious Classroom group is about how community happens and is not about imposing your will on it to build it or make it happen. It is about pulling a thread across minds, and mouths, and ears, hands, and feet and down to the Earth and then listening in a way that affects you to change.
All are welcome to join in on this Facebook Group and please invite your friends and colleagues.
Reframing how we connect to the world through play and learning
