Bridging Worlds:Dialogues with Flora and Fauna
Hand spun art yarns place the land (and those that live there) in the child's hand. Materials co-created by plants, and animals.
The Pollywog was designed for children
- but spinners of all ages and heights enjoy treading with their toes on this perfect beginner budget-friendly wheel. We wanted to design a wheel that people of all ages, especially children, could enjoy. Start with the basic 4 oz wheel for $496.00 and as you learn to spin you can add additional accessories to your wheel when you're ready to start spinning at faster speeds and on bigger bobbins.
The by-passable orifice hook allows you to spin bulky, ply creative, or add embellishments - and the treadling is smooth & silent. Three ratios are available on the $496.00 Pollywog - just the right speeds for learning how to spin yarns of all fibres and weights.
Since it's debut in 2016, the Pollywog has always had GOLDEN WHORL engineering. If you already own this wheel, your design is up to date.
Upgrade your Pollywog! (image includes the accelerator upgrade)
$270.00 - Accelerator. This removable circular piece attaches between the base and the head of your Pollywog wheel, and does two things. First, it raises the height of the orifice of your Pollywog and gives you a total of 10 speeds for spinning finer weight yarns. Adding this accessory to the Pollywog is perfect for filling the 4 oz bobbins with finer yarns.

SpinOlution Worker Bee
The Worker Bee was debut in 2017 after spinners around the world requested a foldable Bee style wheel with a larger bobbin. The difference between the Queen Bee, King Bee, and Worker Bee is the ratio range and bobbin size. The Queen Bee holds 4 oz bobbins. The King Bee holds 8 oz bobbins. The Worker Bee holds 16 oz bobbins as well as 8 oz bobbins and can fit in a carry on suitcase for flying around the world.
The Worker Bee is the perfect wheel for the spinner who needs effortless portability with a wide ratio range. The speeds are adequate for extra fine (1:26) to bulky (1:4) spinning - and the bobbin size is large enough for creative textures and embellishments to be included in your spinning.
Since it's debut, the Worker Bee has always included Golden Whorl engineering. With Golden Whorl engineering you have 30% less flyer drag, which makes spinning short staple fibers a breeze.
Bobbin Size: 16 oz
Weight: 13-14 pounds
